- 30 ml
- 1/2 tsp

- 1
- red onion, cut into 8 wedges
- 2
- green zucchinis, cut into sections
- 1 tbsp
- olive oil
- 15 ml
- Salt and pepper, freshly ground
Preparation
- Step 1
- In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, orange juice, and spices. Set aside. Wrap a bacon slice around each pork medallion; if slices are too small, use a second one. Fasten with a wooden or metal skewer. Brush tournedos with homemade barbecue sauce and refrigerate them while you preheat the barbecue and cut the vegetables.
- Step 2
- Preheat the barbecue to high on one side and low on the other. Clean and oil the grate.
- Step 3
- Coat vegetables with oil and season generously.
- Step 4
- Sear tournedos over high heat for 2 minutes on each side and transfer to low-heat side to finish cooking, about 5 minutes. Brush with sauce a few times during cooking. Place vegetables on the hot side and cook about 5 minutes, turning regularly. Remove meat from the barbecue and let rest for 5 minutes before serving with cooked vegetables.
