- large yellow onions, sliced

Preparation

- Preheat the BBQ to high heat.
- Step 3
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the oil. Season, and form patties.
- Step 4
- Grill the patties until you get a nice sear. Continue cooking over medium, indirect heat for about five minutes per side.

- Caramelized onions

- Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and brown the onions, stirring regularly for about five minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

- Top the buns with the patties, caramelized onions, tomato, lettuce, or other condiments, to taste.
