- On a large wooden board, tastefully arrange food and serve.
Variation
For camping
- Prepare individual portions in containers to facilitate transportation and preparation.
- Cut cheese, seasonal fruit that does not need to be refrigerated, and raw veggies into slices ahead of time.
- Serve ready-made, store-bought dips and/or hummus garnished with pumpkin seeds or nuts, pesto, salsa, olives, hot sauce, etc.
- Crackers are perfect because they last a long time.
For a terrace
- Serve a variety of cheeses with knives so that each person can serve themselves. Serve deli meats, pâté, whole salami cut into thick slices, as well as ingredients that will be heated (oven-baked brie and honey) or kept on ice (shrimp, oysters, smoked salmon, etc.).
- Sweet and savoury combinations are always winners, like nuts and chocolate, vegetables and dips, cheese and jams, fruits and granola, and deli meats and olives or pickles.
- Different kinds of fresh bread add flavour and texture to your board!
