Preparation
- Step 1
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Step 2
- In a bowl, combine cauliflower with 15 mL (1 tbsp.) of olive oil. Add salt and pepper.
- Step 3
- Place cauliflower and salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush salmon with remaining olive oil. Add salt and pepper.
- Step 4
- Bake for 15 minutes or until salmon is cooked and cauliflower is tender. Break up salmon into pieces using a fork. Set aside.

- Cook pasta al dente according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Step 6
- Place rack in middle of oven. Set oven to broil.

- In the same saucepan, melt butter. Sprinkle with flour and spices. Combine and cook for 2 minutes. Slowly whisk in milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes or until sauce thickens, stirring constantly. Add cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Add macaroni, salmon, and cauliflower. Add salt and pepper to taste.

- Transfer mixture to a baking dish that holds about 2 litres (8 cups). Sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Bake for about 3 minutes or until breadcrumbs are light golden brown.
