Preparation
Step 1
Place grill in the bottom of the oven. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
Step 2
Blanch asparagus in a pot of boiling water for 4 minutes. Immerse in cold water and drain.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix eggs and milk together. Add cheese, red bell pepper, salt, and pepper and mix to combine.
Step 4
Put ham and asparagus in pie shell. Cover with egg mixture. Garnish with tomato slices.
Step 5
Bake for about 50 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
